“Arcanum” is a complete password management solution catering for the needs of both users and administrators.
It requires an LDAP server such as OpenLDAP. It mainly consists of a web application written in PHP. Optionally an enhanced version of the login server JA-SIG CAS can be used, which will enhance the web login experience.

Target Audience
This software will be of interest to administrators who have (or intend to implement) an LDAP-based authentication system and want to:
- provide their users with a user-friendly and secure way to manage their password
- provide themselves and helpdesk staff with a convenient way to reset a user's password and enforce a certain password policy.
